This 2 ton skid mounted asphalt hot box reclaimer heats and maintains asphalt temperatures for up to 2 days. Not only does this hotbox reheat, it also has the capability to reclaim virgin hot mix asphalt. Asphalt is loaded into single insulated lid and locked securely with two heavy duty lid locks. Temperature is controlled by a thermostat and powered with 105,000 BTUs of thermal energy. When asphalt is ready for use, the reclaimer’s tapered design brings the flow of material to the single shovel door. This hotbox reclaimer has 2 to 3 inches of fiberglass insulation to keep asphalt hot throughout your project. This 2 ton reclaimer can be mounted onto a flat bed trailer or slid onto a 3/4 ton pickup truck. Think of all the asphalt mix you will be able to keep instead of throwing away.
